Shen YiJie lives and works in Taipei.

His work explores the uncertainties within painting, navigating between intuition and control, representation and abstraction.

Through this process, Shen investigates the boundaries of painterly form, seeking tension in the interplay of material and structure, allowing the work to become a response to both the creative process and psychological states.
